HopeNest is built by Champlin Enterprises. This page describes, in plain words, what HopeNest does with your information today.

In plain words

HopeNest is a private organizer for your appointments, checklists, costs, medications and cycle notes. You decide what goes in it. It is not a medical record and it does not replace your clinic's portal, so keep official results and instructions with your clinic, and enter only what you are comfortable storing with us.

Signup is open to adults. Nothing you enter is shared with anyone unless you choose to share it.

What is stored

A signed-in account stores your name, email, password hash (or, if you sign in with Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn, a link to that account: its ID, name, email and profile photo address), chosen journey stage, timezone and the entries you choose to save. Entry contents and journey stage are encrypted in the database using a server-held application key. The server can decrypt these records to display them to you. This is not end-to-end encryption.

What is shared

HopeNest has no advertising pixels, session replay, AI processing of your records unless you choose to turn on the optional AI helpers (see below), or outbound email/SMS reminders. The only email we send you is a password reset link when you ask for one. Records are hosted on Champlin Enterprises’ infrastructure. Server and security logs may contain technical request information. External resource links take you to independent organizations with their own privacy practices.

Our public pages (the home page, blog, guides, features, tools and resources) count visits with Champlin Enterprises’ own analytics, hosted on our servers: the page address, the site you came from and your device type. It never runs inside your signed-in space, it is not shared with advertisers, and it does not follow you to other sites.

Sharing with someone you trust

You can invite a partner or support person to see parts of your space, and nothing is shared unless you do. You choose the sections, and they see them read only. They need their own HopeNest account. You can stop sharing at any time, and it takes effect on their next page load. Deleting either account ends the share. An invite link works once and expires in 7 days. We never email it for you, so you decide how to send it.

Resource suggestions

When you suggest a resource, we store what you type (the organization, link, topic, note and, only if you give it, your email) so we can review it. We keep a one-way hash of your IP address to limit abuse. Suggestions are never published with your details. Ask us to delete a suggestion at any time.

Optional AI helpers

Quick capture and appointment prep questions can use AI, but only if you turn them on. They are off unless you do, and turning them off stops all sending straight away. When on, the text you paste (or, for prep questions, only the appointment title and type) is sent through our own AI gateway to OpenAI to organize it. OpenAI does not train on it and may keep it up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Our gateway does not store your text, and we never use it for anything else. Suggestions are only ever shown to you: nothing is saved until you press Add, and medications are never extracted. There is a daily limit on how often the helpers can be used. You can use HopeNest fully without them.

Your controls

Use Settings to export your active records or delete your account and its active records. Deletion does not instantly remove copies from any infrastructure backups.

What HopeNest does not do

HopeNest does not diagnose, interpret test results, prescribe medications, calculate treatment schedules, guarantee grant eligibility or determine insurance coverage. Follow your clinician’s instructions for medical care and verify funding and insurance details with the relevant organization.

What we are still working on

We are still completing a consumer-health privacy review, written retention and recovery procedures, a content review, and a stronger encryption design for clinical records. We do not claim HIPAA compliance or clinical approval.
